Stubborn fat across larger areas of the abdomen and flanks is often distributed too broadly for applicator-based treatments to cover effectively in a reasonable number of sessions. A different approach is needed for patients whose concern spans a wider zone rather than a single pocket.

Vanquish uses a large, contactless radiofrequency applicator to deliver energy across the full treatment area simultaneously. The RF energy is tuned to the electrical impedance of fat tissue, so it preferentially heats fat cells to a temperature that triggers their natural death while leaving skin and muscle largely unaffected. Over the following months, the body processes and eliminates the destroyed cells. The contactless delivery means there is no pressure or suction, making it well tolerated across sessions.

At-home care:
