Wiaan Bedeker

Dr. Wiaan Bedeker's path to Vancouver ran through Cape Town and Cardiff. He completed his medical training and family medicine residency in South Africa, where he was awarded the Tim Quan Medal in 2015, the College of Family Physicians of South Africa's recognition for outstanding performance in the Fellowship examination. In 2017, he moved to Canada and added a postgraduate diploma in Practical Dermatology from the University of Cardiff.

He holds MBChB, MMed, and CCFP designations alongside his Diploma in Practical Dermatology, and practices as a physician injector at Skin Technique in Vancouver, a clinic known for its rigorous approach to aesthetic results. His scope spans dermatology, family medicine, and aesthetic medicine, with board certification in both family medicine and medical aesthetics.

Dr. Bedeker's philosophy centers on natural results that are specific to the person in front of him: no templates, no uniform treatments. His approach draws on anatomy and structural knowledge that came from training across two countries and several disciplines, and the results reflect both that depth and a consistent interest in each patient's individual goals.

Dr. Bedeker has a passion for teaching, and currently serves as the West Coast Medical Director for IIAM, the injectable medicine teaching platform.
