Monica Masterson

Monica Masterson is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in cosmetic and cutaneous dermatologic surgery. She graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University and has received additional medical training and experience at Dartmouth, George Washington University, The Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery, and Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery, Inc. While in Washington, D.C., she served as a provider to the White House, Congress, and international diplomates. Monica has also taught cutaneous laser surgery to dermatology and plastic surgery residents from Georgetown, Duke, and Walter Reed. She has participated in clinical studies with aesthetic companies such as Solta Medical, Sente, and Revance Aesthetics to support dermatological advances further. When not at Ava MD, you can find her walking her Weimaraner, Lincoln, on the west side where she films her educational series Dog Walk Derm Talk.
